Phase Two:
A conference was implemented in mid-March 2016 in Gaza City, with the participation of many representatives of NGOs from the governorates of Palestine.
Phase Three:
The third stage, come with the aim of promoting action and practical coordination between partner institutions and others and moving from diagnosis and discussion to action, with the slogan “more work, the third phase is six months, beginning in October 2016 and ending in March 2017, where the third stage involves the implementation Joint initiatives by institutions in promoting national reconciliation. The institutions shall formulate proposals for activities and initiatives in this area and submit them to the relevant committee. A budget has been allocated to fund proposals for activities during the project period, and a concept paper on “Cost of division” will be set up by a research team, to be composed of four Palestinian universities. It is Bir Zeit University, Al-Quds University, Islamic University and Al-Azhar University. The third phase also includes a concept paper proposal, which will be drafted by the four universities and submitted to the financiers to attract funding for the study. The Ibrahim Abu Gould Institute has the lead in writing the concept paper, in addition to organizing a session entitled “Strengthening the participation of NGOs in national reconciliation” with the participation of all partner institutions to be held in Bethlehem in February 2017.
